The Activity
The core activity of ALPHA INSPECT is a control and inspection of material or service, especially concerning its quantity, quality, packing, labeling, production dates and surveys, within the scope of inspection, as defined by our Clients and at locations, designated by them.

The Field of Activity
Initially ALPHA INSPECT offered to the Clients to inspect for them the goods primarily located in Austria, South Germany, Middle and Eastern Europe. But soon, the Clients asked for other more Eastern and Western locations and ALPHA INSPECT obliged.

These days, ALPHA INSPECT covers Europe, ex Soviet Union countries, China, Malaysia, Central and South America, with its over 20-odd stations, branch offices and associated firms

The Goods and Transport means
ALPHA INSPECT has concentrated its activity on surveying dry cargo such as:

• Fertilizers (in bulk or bagged)
• Grain and other cereals (in bulk or bagged)
• Sugar (in bulk or bagged)
• Cotton
• Ore and minerals (in bulk or bagged)
• Steel (basic, semi finished and finished)
• Scrap Iron
• Pig Iron (basic and foundry)
• Machinery (packed, unpacked, rolling)
• Industrial goods (packed, unpacked)
• Food (containerized, refrigerated)
• And any other dry commodity, packed, unpacked, in bulk, containerized or not,
  refrigerated or not, etc

At the same time, ALPHA INSPECT also inspects the means of transportation (rail-car, vessel, truck, container, case, pallets, any other form of unitized transport means) to ensure that cargo or commodity will have appropriate and suitable treatment during transport process.

The Transport Role
On demand of the Clients and for better protection of goods, ALPHA INSPECT offers inspection at both ends. Further, its flexibility permits to monitor and provide logistics for carriage at any condition. This adds to guarantee contract execution, improvement of the speed and efficiency of trade transactions and to support production and delivery schedules.

The Types of Surveys, Reports and Certificates
The spectrum of cargo inspection is defined by each customer needs Pre-finance, pre-loading, tally, tally supervision, draft surveys, loading supervision, stowage plans, railway lists, daily, weekly, final reports, quantity and quality surveys make part of daily work.

In short, ALPHA INSPECT provides the following surveys:

- Loss and Damage Survey
- Condition Survey
- Holds / Tank Cleanliness Survey
- Quantity and Quality Survey.

The surveys are carried out solely or jointly with other surveying companies or participants in transport cycle. The findings are reported daily and finally in comprehensive form and certified in line with principal’s requirements.
